Ready for a no-pressure chat?
Book a free 20-minute chat - no pressure to book, just to see if we click. I'll get back to you personally within 48 hours, Monday to Friday. I'm not a crisis service. Don't fancy a form? Do it the easy way: Text or WhatsApp me on 07468 727721 - just send Hi or Nervous and I'll start us off. Or email me: info@blacksheepwellbeing.com I work online across the UK on secure video (Konfidens), by phone, and in person - home visits & Walk & Talk within 20 miles by arrangement. If you'd rather use the form: You don't have to share your story here. It's dead normal to feel nervous - most folk do. Just pop your first name and how you want me to get back to you. You can leave the big box empty if you want - we can talk properly on the call instead. What happens next is simple: I reply within 48 hours, we have a 20-minute natter, and you take your time to decide if you want to go ahead. No hard sell. I've put answers to the stuff most people ask - like what I'll ask you, if you have to tell your whole story, and if it's normal to feel nervous - just below the form.
After applying via the form below, please check your spam folder just in case. If you'd prefer, leave your phone number and I'll drop you a message to let you know I've replied.

What happens in the first 20 minute call common questions Ive been asked.
Are you covered by private health insurance?+
I am recognised by several major insurance providers. Please contact your provider in advance to confirm your entitlements.
How long is a typical course of therapy?+
This varies. Some clients find six to twelve sessions sufficient; others benefit from longer-term work. We'll discuss this openly from the outset.
What's the difference between counselling and psychotherapy?+
In practice the terms overlap considerably. Counselling tends to be shorter-term and focused on a specific issue; psychotherapy typically involves deeper, longer-term exploration.
What will you ask me?+
Just the basics — what’s brought you to think about support right now, what you’d like to be different, and any practical preferences like online or home visits. You only share what you want to.
Will you tell me what to do?+
No. I won’t diagnose, judge, or push you into anything. I’ll listen, explain how I work, and we’ll see if it feels like a fit for you.
Do I have to tell my whole story?+
Not at all. This isn’t a therapy session. It’s a hello. You can keep it very brief.
I’m really nervous about calling — is that normal?+
Completely normal. Most people are. You can email if calling feels too much, and we can do the 20 minutes over video if you prefer. No need to have the perfect words.
Is there any pressure to book after?+
None. If it feels right, we can find a time for a first full session. If not, that’s absolutely fine. I can signpost you to other options if helpful.
How does online / home visits work?+
Online is UK-wide via secure video link — I’ll send you a simple link, no downloads needed. For home visits within 20 miles of Pontefract, it’s the usual session fee + 55p per mile for travel.
